ADDICTIONS TREATMENT & PREVENTION

BEW offers Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Support for Alcohol and Other Drugs. Our treatment is guided by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. We offer treatment for two Levels of Care:

Level I: Outpatient Treatment occurs in regularly scheduled sessions usually totaling fewer than 9 contact hours per week. Examples include weekly or twice-weekly individual therapy, weekly group therapy, or a combination of the two in association with participation in self-help groups.

Level II: Intensive Outpatient Treatment (including partial hospitalization) - consists of regularly scheduled sessions within a structured program, with a minimum of 9 treatment hours per week. Examples include day or evening programs in which consumers attend a full spectrum of treatment programming but live at home or in special residences. BEW’s Addictions Program addresses:

  • Intoxication and/or withdrawal potential

  • Medical conditions

  • Emotional, behavioral and cognitive conditions

  • Readiness to change

  • Relapse potential

  • The recovery/living environment
