Dr. Rashad K. Saafir, president and CEO of the Bobby E. Wright Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center in Chicago

I am proud to be able to contribute to the vision and legacy of our beloved Bobby Eugene Wright. Dr. Wright was a personal friend and colleague who dedicated his personal and professional life to bettering the lives of others. Many described him as a “true brother” a “warrior” for the less fortunate. His contribution to the communities of East and West Garfield Park and to the consumers served by this agency is immeasurable. The agency staff and I are dedicated to continuing his vision of providing the highest quality of culturally competent and evidenced-based behavioral health services possible for our consumers.

We are inspired by the work we that we do and by the changes we see in the lives of the people we serve. I firmly believe that one has to be inspired to do the work that we do. Our individual and collective sense of inspiration generates hope, optimism, and motivation for our consumers that empowers them to make positive changes in their lives. We love the work that we do here at the Bobby E. Wright Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center and hope that this is reflected in the quality of services we provide.

As we say here at BEW, our first priority is providing quality behavioral health care the “Wright” way.
